The Irish Famine and Emigration Studies Program is designed with several goals in mind:
In order to achieve these goals the programs is made up of two primary components:
While on the field program, students will work on and complete a program portfolio/project which serves as vehicle to draw their studies together. Programs with scholars and museum visits will be supplemented with selected readings.
